Chinese President Xi Jinping opened the 9th Asian Winter Games (AWG) in Harbin on Friday night during a festive ceremony celebrating the city's rich ice and snow culture.
2月7日晚，国家主席习近平出席在哈尔滨举办的第九届亚洲冬季运动会开幕式，庆祝这座城市丰富的冰雪文化。

Around 8,000 spectators at the Harbin International Conference, Exhibition and Sports Center burst into cheers as Xi officially declared the Games open in the presence of visiting dignitaries, including International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach.

Animated blockbuster "Ne Zha 2" has become the first Chinese film to gross 10 billion yuan (about 1.39 billion U.S. dollars) in total global earnings, including presales, crossing the benchmark on Thursday, according to data from ticketing platform Maoyan.

据票务平台猫眼的数据，截至2月13日，动画大片《哪吒之魔童闹海》（《哪吒2》）总票房（含预售及海外票房）突破100亿元。

This milestone achievement, obtained on the 16th day after the film's release on the Chinese New Year on Jan. 29, adds to a growing list of records it had made. "Ne Zha 2" had already become the first film to gross 1 billion U.S. dollars in a single market and also the first non-Hollywood title to join the coveted billion-dollar club.

The China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) on Wednesday unveiled the names of the moon-landing spacesuit and manned lunar rover for the country's manned lunar exploration missions.

2月12日，中国载人航天工程办公室公布了中国载人月球探测任务登月服和载人月球车的名称。

The moon-landing spacesuit is named Wangyu, meaning gazing into the cosmos, and it echoes the name of the country's extravehicular spacesuit, Feitian, which means flying into space, according to the CMSA.

据中国载人航天工程办公室介绍，这款登月服命名为“望宇”，寓意遥望宇宙，与执行空间站飞行任务的“飞天”舱外服相呼应，“飞天”的意思是飞向太空。

It represents that after realizing the goals of spaceflight and establishing China's space station, the country's manned space program has embarked on a new journey of venturing to the moon and deeper space.
