中国降准

China cuts reserve requirement ratio

China's central bank on Friday announced a cut in the reserve requirement ratio (RRR) by 0.5 percentage points for financial institutions.

中国人民银行27日宣布，下调金融机构存款准备金率0.5个百分点。

Starting Friday, the weighted average RRR for lenders will come to around 6.6 percent, while those having already implemented a 5 percent RRR will not be involved, according to a statement of the People's Bank of China.

本次下调后，金融机构加权平均存款准备金率约为6.6%，不含已执行5%存款准备金率的金融机构。

The central bank adheres to a supportive monetary policy with a strengthened intensity and more targeted regulation to create a sound monetary and financial environment for stable economic growth and high-quality development, the statement said.

中国人民银行表示，中国人民银行坚持支持性的货币政策立场，加大货币政策调控强度，提高货币政策调控精准性，为中国经济稳定增长和高质量发展创造良好的货币金融环境。

The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Rocket Force on Wednesday launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), which successfully carried a dummy warhead to the international waters of the Pacific Ocean, the Chinese Defense Ministry said. 

据国防部发布消息，9月25日，中国人民解放军火箭军向太平洋相关公海海域，成功发射1发携载训练模拟弹头的洲际弹道导弹，准确落入太平洋相关公海海域。

The missile, launched at 8:44 a.m., fell into expected sea areas, the ministry said in a statement, adding the test launch was a routine arrangement in the rocket force's annual training plan and China had informed relevant countries in advance.

国防部发布消息称，8时44分，导弹准确落入预定海域。此次导弹发射，是火箭军年度军事训练例行性安排，中方提前向有关国家作了通报。

"It is in line with the international law and international practices and is not directed against any country or target," the ministry said. 

此次导弹发射符合国际法和国际惯例，不针对任何特定国家和目标。

巨型花篮亮相天安门广场

As a part of the celebration for the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, a huge flower basket arrangement in Beijing's Tian'anmen Square and other related decorations along the capital's Chang'an Avenue were installed on Wednesday.

为庆祝中华人民共和国成立75周年，9月25日，北京天安门广场及长安街沿线的大花篮等装饰已安装完成。

The main floral arrangement in the center of the square, which has been contained in a huge flower basket since 2012, used to be filled with flowers that are made to resemble fruits and rice crops. This year, the arrangement includes flowers that are made to look like vegetables and fruits in the basket.

自2012年以来，天安门广场国庆中心花坛一直以“大花篮”形式呈现，通常有花果篮、“五谷丰登”大花篮等多种形式。今年，“蔬果花篮”首次亮相。

A festive 18-meter-high flower basket has been installed in Tian'anmen Square and 10 flower beds of various styles have been set up along Chang'an Avenue, according to Liu Mingxing with the Beijing Municipal Forestry and Parks Bureau.

据北京市园林绿化局城镇绿化处处长刘明星介绍，天安门广场上的巨型花果篮顶高18米，长安街沿线布置了10组花坛。

Other floral decorations, including over 20,000 flower boxes, have been installed across the city to celebrate the holiday that starts on Oct 1.

此外，全市各地布置花卉，喜迎十一国庆，包括花箱2万余个。

Adorning Tian'anmen Square and Chang'an Avenue is a prominent highlight of the annual National Day celebrations and a tradition that has been carried on for 40 years.

The third Global Digital Trade Expo opened in Hangzhou on Wednesday, showcasing the latest technological innovations and business development of the digital economy sector.

9月25日，第三届全球数字贸易博览会在杭州开幕，全面展示了数字经济贸易的最新技术和产业成果。

Themed "Digital Trade, Global Access," this year's edition has attracted more than 1,500 enterprises from home and abroad, among which over 300 are international companies.

Over 30,000 purchasers have signed up for the event, with more than 6,000 of them from foreign countries and regions.
